Therapy
What we might work on
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including those outlined below. This is not an exhaustive list, and if you’re unsure whether therapy may be helpful for your circumstances, you’re welcome to get in touch.
Areas I work with
- Anxiety and persistent worry
- Experiences of ongoing worry, unease, overthinking or difficulty settling.
- Depression and low mood
- Persistent low mood, loss of motivation, withdrawal or feeling disconnected from yourself or others.
- Grief and loss
- Support following bereavement and other significant experiences of loss and change.
- Stress and overwhelm
- Feeling under pressure or overwhelmed by work, relationships or other demands.
- Life transitions
- Support during significant periods of change, adjustment or uncertainty.
- Relationship difficulties
- Exploring difficulties within relationships and recurring interpersonal patterns.
- Other emotional concerns
- Support with other concerns that may be affecting your wellbeing or making day-to-day life more difficult.
What to expect
Our initial session is an opportunity to discuss what brought you to therapy, identify what you would like support with, and consider the appropriate direction for the work.
Where therapy continues, subsequent sessions provide an opportunity to explore the issues identified in greater depth and work towards the areas we have agreed to focus on.
